NGAUS just increased its membership benefits.

In addition to representation and advocacy in Washington, association members now receive special discounts on online purchases of flowers and travel.

NGAUS recently signed an agreement with FTD.com, which offers flowers and gifts, and one with nuTravel, Inc., a full-service online travel agency. Both will provide association revenue as well as membership discounts.

The FTD.com agreement has been in place since earlier in the year. FTD (Florists' Transworld Delivery), is the world's oldest floral services organization. Its web site provides NGAUS members with a 15 percent discount on the basic product price for all orders.

This service provides same-day delivery of floral orders and offers a wide variety of unique floral arrangements and specialty gifts for holidays and other occasions. All floral bouquets are exclusively designed and hand delivered by an FTD-registered florist.

Orders may be placed from the NGAUS Web site at www.ngaus.org. Phone orders are accepted at 1-800-SEND-FTD (1-800-736-3383). Just mention Code 4574.

nuTravel is partnering with the association to provide NGAUSTRAVEL, which is scheduled to debut this month.

The site, which will be accessible from the NGAUS Web site at www.ngaus.org, provides members and their families with an exclusive reservation service tor an array of discount travel options, including air fare, hotels, cruises and rental cars.

It operates similar to the wellknown discount travel sites on the Web. Users can book and confirm all their arrangements online with realtime phone and online support available from live travel agents. But NGAUSTRAVEL users will receive discounts of up to 30 percent.

NGAUSTRAVEL offers bargains from most airlines, 68,000 hotels and 48 rental car companies. In addition, some 15 million vacation packages and cruises are available for leisure travel.
